Digital Marketing Funnel represents a process which starts from a customer learning about a brand till making a purchase or becoming a loyal customer. The goal of having this funnel is to help the brand or business owner to know how to approach their customers and turn them to loyal ones. It consists of four stages as the following:
Awareness: make the customer familiar with the brand using different touch points such as ads, seo, social media, content marketing with the goal of becoming the customer top of mind.
Consideration: customers look for more information about the brand, and try to differentiate it from other competitors. In this stage, the brand should well inform their customers by delivering clear messages to make them understand how their deliverables can meet their needs.
Conversion: the customer makes an action of conversion which can be a purchase, contacting the business or signing up. It is very important to have an effective landing page, along with a good customer service experience in order to help the conversion to happen.
Retention: the final stage, which consists of applying different methods to keep the customer loyal such as loyalty programs and post-purchase engagement, so that the brand stays as a top-of-mind brand.
